Recent Seti Flash Flood May 2012 II
Flash flood believed to be due to outburst of a landslide-dammed lake occurred in the tributary of the Seti River originating from the east of Mount Machhapuchhre caused loss of at 31 human lives so far and still missing more than 40-50, and caused great loss of property including homes, businesses, crops, and livestock.
Police and army team wading through mud and debris in search of victim's body at Kharapani, Sardikhola ward 9. So far, 31 bodies have been recovered and 40 to 50 missing.
